SHE'S ABOUT THAT LIP BALM LIFE: LANOLIPS 101 OINTMENT REVIEW

20.4.16

Hi guys,
hope everyone is well!

So last year I wrote a post about a new lip balm find of mine, dramatically titled 'I kid you not. The best lip balm ever' (which you should totally check out btw). I'm going to go on record and retract that statement because I have a new lip lover in my life and he goes by the name of Lanolips.

Anyone who knows me will attest to my lip balm addiction. I seem to have perpetually dry lips, so I used to always carry around 2/3 different lip products, ranging from Vaseline to Carmex. Now the Nuxe Reve de Miel is amazing, evident by the fact that my tub is completely empty and scraped entirely clean, but I am in love with the Lanolips 101 ointment. It is by far the most hydrating, moisturising, and soothing lip product I have ever had the pleasure of using.

Lanolin 101 Ointment is made from medical grade Lanolin, which is naturally occurring within wool and extracted from it. It works by penetrating deep into the skin to moisturise but also creates a barrier in the underlying layers of the skin to prevent moisture from escaping, which keeps the skin supple meaning you don't have to reapply it as often. It's also great for dry, cracked and itchy skin conditions due to its powerful moisturising properties.

Lanolin 101 Ointment is honestly the best lip product I have used thus far in my 22 years on this earth, and I cannot recommend it enough. It not only keeps my lips soft, supple and moisturised but it also contains no artificial fragrance, parabens, PEG's, mineral oils, sulphates or petrolatum. It can also be used as a multi-purpose balm and is great for areas of dry and cracked skin. It has fast become a handbag must and I don't leave the house without it.

It's recently had a re-brand and now comes in cute, pale lavender, retro packaging. You can buy the Lanolips 101 ointment from a variety of places, although it is notorious for being sold out, such as Boots who have an offer on at the moment where you'll receive a free Lanolips tinted lip balm with your purchase, which is an absolute bargain, so I'd get shaaaaaping!

I've also finally got my tripod so will be shooting some style posts this week, which I'm SO excited about, so definitely keep an eye out.

That's all for today you crazy kids.
Peace&Love xxxxx

  32. I have both lanolips and Reve de Miel and have to agree with you! i find reve de miel a great lip 'mask' mainly for night or winter times but for everday all day moisturising that doesn't just sit on top it has to be lanolips. I use a tiny bit on my cuticles too it's great. x
