Today I have the first of batch of new skincare bits to share with you. You could say that I've recently gotten a tad *read extremely* obsessed with my skin so I've maybe gone a tiny teeny bit overboard with new skincare.
I'm quite fortunate that I have pretty clear skin though this wasn't always the case. Throughout my teens I had horrendous acne and spots, particularly on my forehead. It started clearing up when I was around /17/18-thank God- but I still have some faint scarring on my forehead and I've always wanted to get rid of that. Whilst I've mostly always had some kind of skincare routine (very loose use of the word routine), I've been really slack the past couple of months. It was on my quest to find something which could help my scars that I discovered the brand Alpha H. After a bit of research I decided to take the proverbial plunge and invest in a few things.
So these are the Alpha H products which I bought. I found a fabulous deal on QVC that includes; the 'Microcleanse', which is known as 'microdermbrasion in a tube' and should help in fading my scars, the 'Liquid Gold' which is a glycolic acid exfoliant that you leave on overnight AND can I just add, beauty guru, Ruth Crilly from A Model Recommends swears by, and the 'Protection Plus, Daily Essential SPF 50+' moisturiser which is great because when using glycolic acid it is essential to use a SPF during the day as your skin is more sensitive to the sun. All three of these products are on the site for £39.95 + £4.95 shipping which is a massive saving as separately these products are over £80! I've linked the products individually below the first photo, if for whatever reason you do want to buy them separately. I've been using these for going on a month now, and so far so good. I'll do a proper in-depth review after about 6 weeks.
Lastly, I finally joined the micellar water crew, and bought some Bioderma Crealine H2O. This is a cult Product, well blogged about and it receives rave reviews from literally everyone so I'm really excited to try it and add my two cents. Again I'll do an update on this in a few weeks time so I can let you know if I love it as much as everyone else does.
Is it sad that I'm quite excited to have a proper skincare routine again? I was literally like a kid on Christmas Eve, waiting for everything to arrive. Does anyone else find themselves, impatiently waiting for online deliveries to arrive?Well that's all for now folks.
Peace & Love.
P.S. WHO ELSE IS EXCITED TO FIND OUT WHO A IS ON PRETTY LITTLE LIARS? OMG I CAN'T BLOODY WAIT!
