Hey ya'll, today I have a short review on the 'Nuxe Reve de Miel' lip balm, which I purchased a few weeks ago and after a decent time of use I thought I'd share my experience with it.

Let me start by saying that this is a godsend. As anyone who knows me can attest to, I'm a bit of a lip balm hoarder/compulsive user. I literally get anxious if I've left the house without at least one lip balm because I always have really dry lips. I'm not sure why this is because you'd think with my excessive use of lip products, I would have perfectly hydrated lips but alas I do not, or should I say I did not.

The Reve De Miel is amazing, it has an odd texture, that I'd describe as thick and slightly gritty but it honestly feels absolutely incredible on. It also has a beautiful citrus-y scent which I love. As soon as I put it on, my lips instantly feel softer and more hydrated. I also don't have to keep re-applying it as often as other lip products that I've tried like Carmex and even Vaseline. I normally apply it ever morning and every evening as part of my skincare routine and only top up with a travel lip balm- usually Vaseline- when I'm at the gym or running as I find working out always drys out my lips.

For the last week or so I've been applying it after putting a bit of my new Pai rosehip oil (post coming soon) on my lips and that works an absolute dream, its like hydration on steroids. I know I've said this before but my lips feel amazing. I totally see why it's achieved cult status, it is genuinely the best product I've ever used for my lips and would 100% recommend this to anyone and everyone. You can purchase the Reve de Miel on Feelunique.
At £9.50 it's on the pricier side of lip balms but it's totally and completely worth it.
Well that's all for today, Let me know if you've tried the Reve de Miel and what your experience has been.
Peace & Love xxx

p.s. I'm currently having 'technical difficulties' with my web design hence the absence of posts, I have so many lined up and I'm just going to start rolling them out despite the design not being completely finished yet as I'm impatient as hell, so you'll have to bear with me!

  1. Ahh I really want to try this! I've developed a bit of an expensive lip balm habit recently, my currently favourites are ESPA's Mandarin lip balm, and the Korres lip butter, but this has been on my list for ages. I might just have to give it a go!

  4. I know £9.50 is expensive for a lip balm, it isn't as much as I always thought it was, for some reason I thought it was around £20, I might have to try this sometime
